As the Bonalu festival reached second day Rangam will be organized today at Secunderabad Ujjaini Mahankali temple.
In the Rangam program, it is believed that the deity will speak through an unmarried girl at the main entrance of the temple. The Goddess will select an able girl for the purpose to take possession and speak through her. Main happenings that are to take place in the future will be revealed in this program.
Last year in Bonalu it was told by the Goddess that Telangana Statehood will become a reality. The Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, TDP President Chandra Babu Naidu, TRS President K Chandrasekhara Rao and other prominent people of the State visited yesterday to get the deity’s blessings.
After the Rangam program is over the photo of the Goddess Ujjaini Mahankali will be decorated and a procession will take place in the streets of Laskhar.
Finally the deity will be bid good bye to end the festival.
