YSR Congress leaders have expressed their anguish over the division of state. There was a round table conference in YSR district where several party MLAs and MLCs took part.
The YSRCP leaders maintained that if a strong decision is not made now, the future generations will suffer. Several leaders on the dais wrote resignation letters and handed them over to the Samaikynahdra JAC chairman.
MLAs Srikant Reddy, Srinivasulu and Adinarayana Reddy and MLCs Narayana Reddy and Pullayya have submitted their resignations in the meeting.
"We submitted resignations because of the proposal to divide Rayalaseema. Who gave them the power to take a decision on division of the state or Rayala Telangana?, " the YSRCP MLAs questioned, adding that no one has the right to divide Rayalaseema.
