Minister for Health D L Ravindra Reddy caught in another political controversy as Kamalapuram MLA Veera Siva Reddy demanded his removal from the Cabinet as he did a sabotage to the Congress party in the DCCB elections in YSR Kadapa district.
He said the Minister had colluded with the opposition party leaders to defeat the Congress candidates. The MLA accused DL for of weakening the Congress candidate Hanumantha Rao by prompting TDP leader Gajjela Srinivas to file nomination for APCOB chairman post. Veera Siva Reddy also demanded that Ravindra Reddy should be suspended from the party as he had amassed wealth to the tune of Rs 2000 crore.
He also alleged that another Minister C Ramachandraiah too had joined hands with DL and damaged the party image in the district. He demanded disciplinary action against him. The Kamalapuram MLA also fired at former MLA Varadarajulu Reddy.
Meanwhile, Ravindra Reddy slammed the remarks against him. He said he was aloof from the cooperative election from the beginning. He would not mind his (Kamalapuram MLA’s) allegations
